soil and groundwater investigation of Miaoli County
The project including inspection and maintenance of monitoring wells; designing and installing of 10 groundwater monitoring wells, sampling and analyzing groundwater samples; inspecting and rechecking of the polluting sites; proceeding the public petitions or emergency tasks, and the related administrative work. I.Designing and installing of 10 groundwater monitoring wells The project has installed 5 groundwater monitoring wells in Kuan Yuan, and 5 in Sanyi industrial park. The hydraulic conductivity in Kuan Yuan industrial park was 0.001~0.0001 meter/minute and in Sanyi industrial park was 0.01~0.0001 meter/minute. The results of the investigation to the water quality of groundwater in Kuan Yuan industrial park, has ethylbenzene, dimethylbenzene, methylbenzene, trichloroethylene, cis-1,2-dichloroethene, and trichloromethane, but did not exceeding the Groundwater Pollution Monitoring Standards; ammonia nitrogen, iron, and manganese sometimes higher than the Groundwater Pollution Monitoring Standards; Sanyi industrial park, has trichloromethane, methylbenzene, dichloroethylene, and trichloroethylene, but did not exceeding the Groundwater Pollution Monitoring Standards, iron and manganese sometimes higher than Groundwater Pollution Monitoring Standards. Some researchers considered that it is a common phenomenon in West Taiwan, and it is necessary that monitoring sustained this site. II. inspecting and rechecking of the polluting sites; proceeding the public It is 20 polluted sites in Miao Li. The polluted sites such as Gou Tai, China General Plastics Corporation, and Taiwan VCM Corporation company, all achieved their own remediation scheduled progress, and all the polluted sites in Miao Li has no unusual state. III. Proceeding the public petitions or emergency tasks This year inspection of 7 emergent case, excepting the case of Chang Chung petrochemistry industry zinc higher than Monitoring Standards, China General Plastics Corporation industry, the copper, nickel, lead, zinc and mercury in sediments were higher than sediments pollution monitoring standard; all cases were detected and had no pollutants.
