This project is mainly divided into three categories. The first one is to process the impeaches of high-emitting vehicles. The second one is to accelerate the replacement of two-stroke motorcycles. The last one is about the government subsidies for low-emission vehicles.
Regarding the impeaches of high-emitting vehicles, there were 80,717 cases reported at Taoyuan County in 2012. It's the second highest among all the counties in Taiwan. Sufficient manpower and resources should be provided in order to achieve satisfactory results to general public in terms of efficiency and quality.
There are about two hundred forty thousands two-stroke motorcycles in Taoyuan County. Considering the high pollution caused by this old model of transportation, accelerating the speed of replacing the two-stroke motorcycles with the low-polluted engines is first priority.
