In order to cooperate with the water body garbage survey method of this project established this year (2019), the related functions of the surface water body garbage intercept and removal management system have been adjusted, and the relevant forms have been added according to the needs of the Environmental Protection Administration and the forms filling in units. At the same time, in order to promote this system as a routine management tool for authorities and commissioned vendors, the system operation briefings are respectively held in the north, central and south areas.
In order to strengthen the government information publishing, a new "Cherish Island and Water Public Information Network" web was established, and four major themes are published: creek cleaning event announcement and results, garbage intercept and removal management effectiveness, Water body garbage intercept and removal facilities and environmental education videos. In terms of land water body management information, the water body list is continuously updated as：aggregate information of 95 reservoir management units in Taiwan and import them into the system database.
The implementation of the surface water body garbage intercept and removal assessment is from January 1 to December 31 this year, and this project assists in the implementation of related matters and the adjustment of the assessment plan next year (2020). Three research conferences was held on central and local land water body garbage management, discussing the status, mechanism and assessment methods of land water body garbage intercept and removal; conduct one annual results sharing and research conference at the end of the year, which invite experts, scholars and the environmental protection groups to share on issues related to river surface garbage and their experience in intercepting and removing waste.
In order to establish the water body garbage survey methods of our country, this project refers to the management measures, management progress and water body garbage assessment methods of international organizations and countries, and adds water body garbage survey assessment methods into existing systematic management processes of our country; at the same time, the application of the aerial photography survey of unmanned aerial drone to the investigation of water body garbage was also evaluated and analyzed.
