Since 2016, the Environmental Protection Agency has developed a national-level station for data collection, station maintenance, and data quality assurance, etc.through the "Air Quality Monitoring Station Data Collection and Processing System Project", establishing a foundation for station data collection and integration.In 2019, through the "108-109 Environmental Internet of Things-Intelligent Measuring Station Management Plan", the collection of relevant data from the National Environmental Monitoring Station of the Environmental Protection Agency (added new environmental and information equipment) were strengthen. The industrial CpK method were introduced to analyze relevant data, establish a quick screening mechanism for status abnormalities, assist relevant station personnel to carry out operations such as instrument maintenance, repair, and review, build a foundation for the information flow and operation flow of the station, and laying the foundation for the operation and management of the next generation station.
The method of collecting and reorganizing station data integrates the transmission methods of old and new instruments at each station, such as traditional analog RS232 port and digital transmission, and uses TCP/IP protocol to convert relevant signals into packets and send them to the central system. In addition, in order to ensure that the data collection and processing system of the Environmental Protection Agency is competent and plays the role of a stable data source, it is necessary to continue to strengthen the current station data collection service and data quality functions, to gain improve data availability, integrity. Also, effectively provide front-end smart application systems accessing sensor data for value-added, management and decision-making applications.
This plan continues to collect relevant information from station server, network, and station environment; integrates analyzed information for management modules anaylsis and development, strengthens the smart monitoring system of the station, active monitoring and reports related services, to assist in station instrument maintenance, preventive maintenance and data quality assurance, and form a self-cycle management system to achieve the performance of smart management of the station.
